Creative art's group

Creative art's group In-Person

This group session offers an alternative way that you can learn to express your emotions and gives the opportunity to create art with a variety of materials, colours and textures. No prior art training or ability to draw is necessary and our groups are completely free!

The purpose of working with images therapeutically is about the encouragement towards greater self-awareness within each person. By bringing the person-centred approach to images expressed in art form, integration, healing and growth can take place at every level of development and can offer the opportunity for students to express their emotions (should you wish to do so) in a safe containing confidential space within the group setting.

Each session will have a different theme with the final session offering the group the opportunity to take part in a group collage together. It will take place on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30pm, at the 2nd Floor Tindal Building in room TIN212. Please let reception know you have arrived for the course and the facilitator will meet with you there.

Art therapy will be run as a closed group and therefore students can register no later than session 2.
